Another one shuffling over from IMOC, I've been keeping close tabs (ie lurking) on the 2 V6 builds and drooling.
Can't really afford it but a number of times I've had to restrain myself from buying a Camry!
Chris
Wecome to the madhouse Chris. The more you look, the more addictive it becomes. It won't be long before you're starting a swap. I've not started yet either, just sorting the bodywork and slowly buying parts.

Sam I went out and got some shots before it got dark, as you can see there's a slight rust issue by the courtesy light switch and numerous shades of blue!

The two problems with the Plumley IMO are; filling the hole in the centre, mine has cracked as I used standard filler that doesnt flex and you'll need to put in some assisstance for the boot spring (unless you're going for a one piece engine/boot lid).
i used that expanding foam in a can stuff for filling cavaties...worked great..once dried it can be sanded and then finished with a light layer of filler..
gives a lot of strength to the wing too as it spreads along the inside.

i take it window bond can be bought from any good genereic DIY store ! Or is it for car windows and if so where do I get that from ?
Paul Woods
01-12-2005, 17:49
window bond is also known as sikaflex, you can get that from car paintshop suppliers or maybe even b&q? double glazers use it too...er i think thats why its called window bond :D
