I need to get a clutch, and it would be great to share the cost if more people want one. These guys -

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190231657717&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:MOTORS:1123

They would give us discount if 4 or more ordered.

OlberJ
03-07-2008, 17:55
Yeah N/A drivetrain this would be for, going on the link.

jimgreen
03-07-2008, 18:37
Tbar, I'll wait on word from you. We need to think where would be best to post to, if its up to scotland that'll be one bit of UK post we don't have to worry about.

Then if the discount is big enough to cover the cost of posting in the UK.

TbarTurbo
03-07-2008, 18:55

Sorry to dig this thread up from the dead, but ive got one of these 2 years ago and cant for the life of me remember if this whas a turbo clutch or an NA model?

OlberJ
14-11-2010, 13:41
It was definitely NA that i got.

Still have it with the brand new pressure plate and a friction plate with 2k on it. Took it off and went back to a normal rather than paddled plate.

If anyone wants it they can have it cheap.

hmmmmm

Looking at buy an uprated n/a clutch, how did these go in the end, where there uprated or standard?

:)

hmmmmm
17-01-2011, 10:33
They are 6 puck clutches, so its a different style of clutch. They slip less so grip faster. There are different stages available, from stage 1 for pure street/city driving to stage 4 for track use. I haven't used this one yet but my other mk2 v6 has a 6 puck clutch which is very similar to this one, and i dont want anything else. It grips straight away, after around 2 cm pedal travel. I can still easily drive it around town and parking isnt a problem either, even my mom has driven it without any problem, parking in 3rd gear (she thought it was 1st, but didn't notice it because there is enough torque :) )
