Hi from East Yorks

Hi all, just a quickie to say hello. I have owned my mark 1 G reg t-bar for almost 4 years now, and apart from the usual stuff, 15" wheels and tyres, all round black diamond drilled brake discs, stainless brake hoses, cone filter, its pretty much standard. Giving minimum hassle over 25,000 miles its covered, it only comes out in the summer, this winter I have treated it to a new front bumper carrier, and almost 30 litres of waxoyl and 5 litres of waxoyl underseal. I admire all you guys (and girls of course!) who set about transforming the 2 into something unique and shoe honing the seemingly impossible into reality? I will eventually if the engine ever gives up consider upping the engine to maybe a supercharger or 20valve, or something more... :wink: depends if I get the thirst for power. I have a Lotus Elise S2 silencer I am planning on fitting thou so any advice on that would be welcome..

hiya fella, believe me once you have driven or been in a 1.5 the 20v or 4AGZE will seem very boring in comparison and I drive a SC as my daily driver and still think the 1.5 is the way to go and also have a fire breathing celica GT4 and still think the 1.5 is the way forward, another guy on here has the holy grail of performance the TT supra and he has built a superb 1.5 as well ! be warned coming in here could cause an incurable addiction with an angle grinder !

I have to admit i do fancy the turbo route, having owned a few turbo cars before i had to grow up, and do family things, but now i feel my second childhood approaching quickly.... but the V6 is a tempting morsel... decisions, decisions...

i think on paper the v6 sounds fantastic but im still waiting to see some numbers..stil reckon a good 3sgte will spank its little girly arse... ;)
