I think you may find spraying T-tops a little tricky as i dont think paint will 'take' very well to glass and will flake off pretty quickly especially on a roof panel as its in direct exposure to the sun/elements.
If you etched the glass somehow it may last a bit longer, dunno ?

I was going to use etching pimer a local bodyshop near me said they had sprayed glass before and it was fine 12 months on so i am just hoping it will work

Aye, get the right primer on there and you'll be fine Andy.

If they're spares then a little etching of the glass won't go amiss.

Hi ollie what would you recomend using:?:

You should get onto Nick as he's making some carbon T-tops for about 50 each.
By the time you've bought some and sprayed em the cost will be close to that.

Or maybe he could do you some fibre glass ones - so you get the wieght saving aswell.

feckin ebay got my new roofs yesterday dhl delivered opened them up in front of the driver and one is smashed, he reckons that they arnt supposed to carry glass as that could cut him i have tried to get hold of the seller but to no avail haas anyone claimed there money back through paypal before? as i am finding it hard to find there place to claim my money back

You gotta open a dispute in Paypal, if there's no reply from the seller in 30 days or summit they'll refund you.

If the seller posted the items insured you can claim off the delivery folks, if not, you might be screwed.

Had a similar thing posting a fishtank sold on ebay (we were the sellers this time).

Phone-call to courier company:-

Us: We'd like to claim the insurance on the fishtank you broke.

Courier: It states in our written terms and conditions that we don't take glass so you're not covered.

Us: But we booked it over the phone so have never seen your small print.

Courier: We don't take glass so you're not insured.

Us: We told your operative that it was a glass fishtank and they took the booking and the insurance.

Courier: We don't take glass so you're not insured.

Us:

In the end Lyn went and bought a new fishtank and mailed it to the buyer.
