this has just come through from makro- dont know if its any good or not.
tent is 6.8 x 5 - i presume that metres.

Macro is a wholesale warehouse so whatever prices they put up you need to add the VAT on yourself.

it will be a commercial vehicle and it really narks me I have to pay VAT on it for private use, not half as much as it narks me I have to pay a £10 on the bridge as well if its not being used for commercial use ! they did that when I was a student they trid charging me commercial vehicle on the bridge for an ausitn mini pick up, reveresed out of the booth and went to the coin bins, cheeky feckers !

well i went to makro today and they had the festival tent there but ....
i didnt realise how big it is.:wink: it comes in two boxes and one of them is quite long ( must be the poles!- no not the european ones8-[ ) have we considered how we are getting it there? they had plenty in stock -so i can always go back and get one. they had various other sizes there today- ranging from 3x3- 9x3 prices were 39.99- 69.99 . they were just the pavillion type but they come in one box that is not too long!

lodge im going to try to make a removable tow bar hitch set up for lily so i could trailer it there (if i finish the damn car that is!)
hmm..but then we have to condsider storage and future loans to big members and moving it around the country..do we think 9mX3m would suffice? maybe get two 9x3 and make a 9x6 even..?! thoughts?

What are we going to house within it? 9x3 is fairly big, that's 3 normal gazebos in a row if you are trying to visualise it. It depends on what we want to do, but I'm guessing it's main function is to stick a couple of cars underneath normally, and shelter when it rains?
whos got the generator and fridge to keep the beers cold. I've got my mini fridge in the car but it only holds 4 cans (handy between the time you get there and the time the tent is up)

my mini fridge holds 6 cans so thats 10 so far !
Need a big tent to get all the girls in at the night time party. Could even get them to do a bit of pole dancing...in between the wet t-shirt competitions....

Ahh Paul I managed to escape that reality last time and went down the 300ZX owners club party. Went to sleep when it was getting light again. :-) ......
Actually I just realised the only difference was we had no BBQ, Although they did have a full sized fridge so the beer was cold.
