Hiyup - Not 1.5.... Yet

Just a quick hello 8) I have been viewing the main site with interest for a while now and thought it was about time I registered on the forums.

I have an early spec MKI (85 C-Reg). The plan was to drop a 3SGTE into it next year, but premature failure of the original engine has made me drop the stock 4AGE engine in from Megatron's donor car. It should suffice until time and budgets are available for a 3SGTE.

The engine swap is almost complete, but was put on hold as we ran out of the time allocated. Hopefully complete by the end of the weekend.

I hope the engine runs well for you G! So do I mate :lol: We landed up replacing pretty much everything on the engine bar the head and block.

Probably start this time next year if I decide to go this route. There are still too many options going through my head to make a final decision. I suppose when we see yours finnished, it might persuade me further :wink:

I am in Duston and would love to see the 1.5 8)

We have a local Jap car nutters forum set up mainly for meets as nothing was happening in the area. Would be really good to see another MKI (well 1.5) and even better seeing it keeping up with and passing the MKII MR2-T's, Supra's, RX7's, Skylines, etc... 8) :lol:
