first and foremost, another oppurtunity to congratulate nik on the fine site, some keen graphic logo's you have there!, will be blessing my frankentwo with one if they become available later. I do like the site, its very sharp.

right, a handful of you know me, i guess some do not. Names adam, hit the big three 'o' two weeks back, had 2 nights out in a row, some of you know im having a good streak of luck lately!, both nights were paid for 8) living in brighton & hove, im not addicted to anything, wont speed again officer, and will check in with my probation regular. *sits down*

Im working as a toolmaker in polegate, sussex, so if you need anything special machined for your 2, please ask away. Im converting my mk1 as many of you are and have done, and generally like to spend long evenings doing things i shouldnt have even contemplated, then i guess, we are all alike, i look forward to having us all meet up one day and showing the mr2 populus who's still no 1. the mk1.

cheers.

Adam.

yep can machine upto 17" diameter for instance, re-boring the hubs of the wheels etc, i can also bore these out on the mill, and horizontal work (in a straight line). anything go's! upon discussion, postage to new delhi somewhat expensive tho!.

dont worry about that, the car's in northamptonshire with my brother.!
i've just got to finish my 'tour of duty' in india before i come back to UK.
machining wheels is prolly a bit daft, but i'm sure i can think of somebits i'd like machined.

paul - well i dont finish until may2007 but i can come back for holidays before 2007. the only problem is there are sooo many places to visit out here, like Malaysia, China, Japan, Oz, NZ, Nepal..im getting through them best i can..so hopefully by next year i should have exhausted a lot of the potentials..on that note, im off to Singapore on thursday, so i need you to moderate the forums in my absence..i return on the 31st..would you mind..?
but back to the thread, i am really looking forward to meeting everyone for the first time..i think it would be a bit of a giggle..and a great way to get inspiration looking at other 1.5s. it would definately be the nuttiest stand at any car show..need to work on some banners and stickers etc..anyone got any contacts at tshirt printing companys..?

the moderating isnt a problem mate....i think theres going to be more 1.5's finished by JAE 2006 than we realise, the interest in these swaps is snowballing every day....it only takes one mk1 owner to get a ride in one to start him looking fora tubby clip.....and mk2 owners cant drive worth a damn so the constant stream of wrecked tubbys will ensure the 1.5's future forever !

lmao...ooh you're a bad man...but yeah there does seem to be an awful lot of crashed tubbys out there..
we can rebuild them..faster, stronger...!

thoughts!.. you can buy things from pcworld.. and print your own logos directly onto them, then iron the transfer on to your t-shirt.. were not talking armani stitched quality here. but i bought a set before to try out, they are pretty good, problem is price, i paid about 10-12 quid for enough to do 3 t-shirts full face, also, endless supply of sticker material and stuff available for purchase at pc world and the likes. They do look pretty dodgy like the old sev's style printed tee's!. I'd have no problem with handling any minor printing, have a pretty good canon colour bubble jet down here.
