buy from these people with caution:
reference: a gauranteed low mile import tranny for my mk1 some time back.
cost: 230 + carriage = ?265
gaurantee: 12 weeks
1 day holiday for delivery.
delivery turned up 3 days late (loss of 3 days holiday, car awaiting transmission)
3rd gear blew out 8 weeks later.
could happen to anyone/company: fair point :D . With courtesy and manner i telephoned, countless times, to contact the person that dealt with 'gearboxes'. Was either 'out of the office/off sick/on maternity leave'. My guarantee subsequently run out, I persisted for 8 weeks following the end of gaurantee for HELP, an 'exchange' box was promised. nothing ever turned up, no refund, no gearbox, just lies down the phone. they are very friendly people, of course.
