Hey my name is Travis and I am the proud owner of an '87 red T-Bar and the other day for my birthday I got some brand new Kazara KZ-A wheels. I just thought I should share my happienes with all of you.

thats very nice of you to do so, nice wheels what sizing are they?.. so whats the plan for the engine?

The tires are 205/40/17 and look great on the car. I get good comments on them all the time. The motor is a 4-AGE with some diffrent cams that were installed by the previous owner, I dont know the specs but they are high rpm cams. I also believe it has a LSD. No major plans for the motor yet. If the motor kicks the bucket I'm leaning towards a Mk2 turbo motor swap. The motor in it has 143,000 miles on the clock so it still has a year or two till I seriously look into a new motor. I just dont see many mr2 mk1s or mk2s in my city or around here so finding parts might be difficult.

cracking wheels, really clean lines.. motors like that arent too many about, best way to check for lsd.. install a 3sgte 2 litre turbo.. turn the wheels put the foot down, or a v6, equally outstanding.. . .

Hey thanks for the great comments. The converting might happen sooner than expected because after "spirited" runs down the highway there is a clicking/knocking from the 4AGE so 2.0L Turbo here I come.... soon. Might start in a year, my job is seasonal working in a tourist town and all. I work at a local gokart/amusement park. In fact I had just gotten home when my parents were like "suprise", uh here you go. By the way the award for the garage should be given to my mom who always keeps it clean.
