lmao..well its a bagpuss one..got to be worth summat..emily loves it..!

From what I gather from various sources the bagpuss one is the one to have giving you 47.3bhp with an ambiant temprature of 22.3 degrees, while I was digging for the info found out the magic trees can range from a 12.5-21.2 bhp increase dependening on the flavour, but, and get this power drops off at 12.7% per day once taken out of the stay frsh bag renering them useless in a little over 6 days !

yup - sure I saw them on ebay, though I thought if you bought them with the electronic turbo fan kit, it gave you around 80BHP.

yeah but that kit puts extra strain on the alternator Jiff causing a thoeretical loss of 24.8 bhp therefore real life gain is only 55.2bhp as measured at the crank so when corrected for pressure, engine speed, fuel rail pressure, injection cycle and amount of carbon deposit on the piston crown leading to increase tempratures its around 51.2 so not major gain to be had with the fan kit (but thats only in my honest opinion)!

I've seen that Supra and know the person who owns it and the bloke who runs 'Envy'.... The car itself was at Elvington and could pretty much only go in a straight line.

I once almost bought a car from him when I was looking to buy a Rover Tomcat. Note I said 'almost' ....

I watched one of Stu's runs down the strip and it was superb, he spanked the RX-7 he was up against off the line and was leading for about 2/3 of the strip. IIRC he did a 13.5 and the rex did a 13.1. Brilliant stuff, all of us Mk1 peeps were laughing.

Good to meet you Stu, shame it was a bit wet to go for a spin.

not sure about the mods it had but it was no way standard

stu raced a 350rwhp old school rx7 on slicks that only ran a 13.0

i ran a 13.7 btw and raced the dragon rx7 and killed it off the line then it blew-up lol
