Big hello from me :D been looking for a board like this for AGES!

owned my first MR2 3 years ago - Red tin top, which rotted away very quickly and blew its head gasket big style. Spent a month or so researching the 20v conversion before scrapping it and getting something sensible.

4 Weeks ago, I picked up a Mica Blue tin top, which has surprisingly little rot and the little it did have has been sliced out and welded up. Not planning any engine mods just yet. Was about to order a 16mm rear roll bar and bush set from twosrus in the states, but that might have to wait - there seems to be a lot of interesting stuff going on round here!

Brakes are definately on the list - They need to be Milton Keynes proof and still fit under 15" wheels!

I'll get round to posting some images soon, but there's more important things to do (read up on lots of threads!)

thats not the mk1 that was parked up the side of that house near the school was it..always wondered who owned it..it never seemed to move..!

my 1.5 was born in that old barn at the top of station road..bit of nostalgia/trivia for you..!

Nope not that one - This was an ebay special :)

If I had the space, there's one or two cars floating around that I'd grab simply for breaking but unfortunately I'm struggling for space as it is.

Yup, Mica blue my fave colour too.

Went to look at this one to talk myself out of it; Don't REALLY need a second car and It was BOUND to be a rot box, or a leaky T-bar, or jumping out of 5th with a weeping head gasket.

After half an hour I'd talked myself into buying the damn thing.

Still, I'm convinced that MK was designed for a car like this!
