david s reminded me of DA Autoparts the other day..
he bought his rear clip from them recently.
it is also where i bought my clip from 18 months ago, unbelievably they still remember the sale and metnioned it to david..now thats customer service for you..
anyway, theyre very helpful, have a good website and defiantely are not the usual breaker rip-off merchants..

now that is a good recommendation considering they sent you an NA ecu mate! Good clip sources are hard to find, well ones that dont have a big set of oxy burning gear for melting an engine out of its bay in seconds anyway.

They guys in DA were a bit astonished at me turning up with my ?50 quid Ford Fiesta (bargain) and a trailer borrowed from work. They even went to the effort of cutting the boot off when rear clip was hanging out the sides of the trailer. Mr Plod may have said a thing or MRtwo about that!!! lol

Anyways after the 40mph foot to the floor RACE back to Motherwell I then had the sweaty task of getting it out the trailer before my backshift started. Don't think hobby engine cranes were made for this task in mind!!!

Unfortunatly they crushed the front half before I had the chance to ask them for the fuel pump a few days later.

Looks like they've got a Rev 1 tubby in just now. Well I'm guessing so with the year and raised vents in the photos. What are the chances of this having all the neccessary running gear in a usable condition? Looks well mangled.

thats a perfect donor, just looks like its rolled a few times, none of the impact has touched the engine bay...perfect id say...low mileage too.

Yeah i got that one for ?700. Totally unmolested example which is rare for a turbo.

They just haven't updated the website yet.

i wonder if we could get a club deal with this firm that when they get a turbo in they offer it to us first as that makes 3 or 4 clips theyve sold us!

Just bought the rear clip as my girls 1250cc fiesta didn't like the effort it had to make the journey home as my Scooby is never getting a tow bar fitted to it.

They crushed the front end a week later which I could have had. Was gutted as I then had to go and buy a fuel pump which I forgot to ask for.

Maybe we could get them to join as a member and post up any new cars they get in. Might be a few traders wanting to post up free adverts for any goodies we might need.

Great idea - please do it quickly as I can't bear the wait for much longer !!
