post your genaral question regarding this years event.
What/when/how do we get / collect tickets for this?
What time do doors open on the friday?
How much beer should I bring?
Will I need a chastisy belt with paul about? lol

What/when/how do we get / collect tickets for this?
Pay on the door, ?20 per car and you are all entitled to stay the full weekend and camp.
How much beer should I bring?
I'd bring a 24 pack, we can always send out a raiding party
Jiff we will be sending out a raiding party the beer probly won't last that long.

will the tents and cars be in the same area? will the tents be in a seperate area in that area? ie like a small tented village? what if someone snores? :whistle: will they be ostrisized?:doh: will it rain? is someone bringing a large fridge for the drinks/food is there leccy for this? is there a possibility to plug in to the electrics ?

yes the tents will be on the club stand..if someone snores tehy get taped and played on JAE-FM the next day..yes it will prolly rain..a fridge is coming hopefully..i have purchased a 13A pickup yes..

you can come in on friday pm to assist in setting up or from 9am saturday morning..
your ?20 entitles you to come and go as you please and is for the car not per person..
bring as much beer as you want/need/can..
paul has promised to be on best behaviour so hopefully not..

I'll have a pair of two's but also a pickup and trailer. I'm sure we don't want the truck and trailer on the stand so will there be suitable relativly secure parking for such things? Ta, Owen.

I can possibly get the lend of a wheel clamp for the trailer if no space in the TB compound, will have to check first though...unless anyone else has one to lend Owen ?
wheel clamp is a great idea..i think all support and non-japanese cars have to park in the public car park..its secure but wouldnt want anyone nicking the trailer..may even have room for it on the stand anyway mate..

does anyone have a rough ideas as to day/time of arrival?
I think most of us are arriving on the Friday, mid afternoon, so we can help setting up before we get rat arsed.
I'll probably be down friday evening!! Might be bringing my elecric polisher as my cars going to need doing..... anyone else is welcome to borow it to do their car or otherwise!
I’m aiming for Friday afternoon to get there, all depends on the South Wales convoy and what time they can all be ready by (hopefully everyone will manage to get the Friday off). I should be fine even if I do get this new job as it will still be in my month notice and they will have to honour it or I could just walk out anyway.
Getting excited now, gonna buy a bottle of jacks to celebrate the journeys end
Hopefully will have enough room for the cleaning gear I’ve got, havn’t got much as don’t belive in spending much time cleaning the car J as Sam well knows……

Yeah Owen is, and towing it with a pick-up.
I have sorted the Friday off from work and should have the SC back on the road in time (wont be pretty but it will get me there) otherwise I might be begging for a ride in the back of Owen's truck.
(no really that is too easy.....leave it)
Rowdan, once all my car cleaning gear is in the Ute there might not even be enough room for him let alone you :)
Owen get that hilux ready :)
Oh and I don't think anyone really needs to comment any further on that begging for a ride comment, it does enough on its own:welsh:

alan and I should be travelling up from sussex / surrey starting mid morning / midday on the friday, aiming for around 2-5pm arrival, if anyone else from the nether regions wants to tag along we can meet up en-route somewhere. remember folks, baked bean ban starts monday 17th...
If you're coming M25 onto the A1 at South Mimms then there will be a few of us who'll hook up with you. Probably best to meet at Baldock Services (Jct 10).
we should be passing through way around 3pm (baldock) no promises tho! traffic could be anyhow on that friday out of london
We can firm things up/swap moby numbers nearer the time. It only takes me 5 mins to get to Baldock services (that's where I'll be joining the A1 anyways). Better buzz going in convoy.

I need to ask a favour of someone
basically I'm only camping on the friday cos the new missus is coming along on the saturday and we're gonna stay in a hotel that night ....so I was wondering if anyone had a spare spot in there tent and if they did could I borrow it for the night I don't snore and I'll keep my farting to a minimum just please no drunken groping I know I'm pretty but please show some restraint!

I hope so too although might buy food up there.
Trying to find the lighter socket adapter for my mini fridge but having no luck yet, I hope to hell I find it soon, need chilled beer for as soon as I get there friday

yeah a non standard MK1 ! ;)
Is mine far enough away from non standard sam, as I can't get on any of the other stands with the 17's
I think your car is less of an issue Paff, more of a how far away from sanity are you. Could you be driven insane......or is it only a short walk away?;)

I believe from the JAE website you just turn up pay your ?20 and say your on the TwoBrutal pitch. Then you have to talk really nicely to Nik and he will let you on, otherwise its off to the public car park. ;)

don't think its even gonna take a short walk Rowdan. Think I'm pretty much there would be even closer if I had the space to do the swap on my car but that will be sorted after JAE I hope.
On other thing, are we gonna have TB issued straight jackets to control the masses once they see what we've done to our poor mk1's :)

Hi all
I've been mega busy recently which has meant no TB, and no finishing the car in time for JAE :(
Still coming though, I've been to the last 5 or so and it's always dead good. Are we camping on the stand or in the camping place from last year?
Coming in my old ST162, but I'll leave it well away from the stand!
