Been down to Ten Of The Best V today took some pics but the bloody batteries went on the camera. There were two guys over from Bahrain they bought a Aston Martin V12 Vanquish and a Lambo Merchielago and decided to run them down the strip. The Lambo won hands down but the Aston had that daft paddle shift but was still sexy.

There was a Ford Granada there with a 6.3 supercharged V8, the sound this thing made. Sorry no pics of it.

Don't know all the results but Rocket Ronnie managed 203.9 mph over 1.25 miles and a scooby did a 9.5 1/4 mile.

Don't think there are any of my lighters left that are suitable for anything other than exploding or for that matter any of my mates lighters left intact.

Waning to everyone, don't leave lighters lying around, check them before you tryto light the camping stove with them, they might actually have a better flame

still rekon a tb'er could one day lift that 1/4 mile but not so sure on handling and top end as no way any of us will ever see over 160 i rekon being relaistic and wanting to live ! handling your never gonna match the 4x4 boys in fairness ! But that 1/4 mile is up for grabs and I would defo like to be there next year to have a crack at it !

hmmm well if you could get traction down would be perfik, at the end of the day drag racing is as much about laying the power down and keeping it lair down as it is about how much power you have ultimatly !

Leave the silly ideas to us, you know how you get when someone mentions something stupid to me, its like oh no here we go again........

I think the best would be tug of war, mini with 2 4a's in driving the wheels in opposite directions and see either which engine gives up first or how long it takes to strip the car in half.

would be a new TOTB catergory. and could end up looking rather spectacular, of course the car would have to be remote controlled, after all noone wants a stray conrod embedded in their back.
