Hi everyone, im from dublin and have an '89 mk1 mr2. Ive wanted one for the last year and finally convinced my friend to sell me his. Its currently getting rebuilt as the engine was very smokey. Its got 20v blactop throttle bodies mounted on a T3 inlet manifold and uses a greddy emanage ultimate piggyback ecu. I really want to go all out with this car so if anyone has performance brakes , suspension, roll cages etc etc for sale please contact me

sounds excellent sam ! Ive been having difficulty trying to source coilovers , all i could find was koni top adjustables on twosrus.com . Heres a pic of my engine its standard bar the throttle bodies and brand new janspeed. I wanted to get cams, pullies and maybe port it seeing as im getting the engine rebuilt at the mo but i was advised not to bother because the emanage ultimate ecu wouldnt have been up to the job.

Thanks for the welcome everyone
@Limey; thats cool never knew that, i had ledas on my sw20 and the car handled incredibly! Never heard of fightex but il look into them and the ones that are being tested on this site at the moment aswell as theyre a bit cheaper than both. I was also delighted to see the wms brake kit for the front of the aw11 and hope something similar is available for the rear as well as my back left caliper is sticking (dejavu anyone!!!) and it would be an ideal time for me to upgrade.

Quick Q; Is the 4age head on the aw11 identical to the ae86's 4age? The reason I ask is i saw the following ad and i dont want to waste the guys time if the heads arent transferable;

Race/Rally Head. Munster
For twincam, AE86, cost a fortune, quick sale, 495euros
