Hi everyone. Iv enjoyed to site so far and decided it may be time for me to introduce myself (Seeing how it soon will be summer break and I my 2 needs a fixin'). My name is Don and I live in the land of Snow, salt and ill maintained roads, IE: Buffalo NY, United States. I own a red 87 MK1 t-bar red top 4A-GE. http://www.cardomain.com/id/DeadBunny. As for as mods Iv got nothing. Its pretty much stock... and slow. But its in fantastic condition, considering where I live.

Glad to know we aren't the only state stupid enough to salt their roads. Im hopeing the repairs go well because the MK1 may be slow but I would at least like to drive the car I spent $2200 on. someone told me the problem was the lifters in the head but the problem with that story is that 4A-GEs don't have lifters.

Thanks for the welcome and sir just might if he could find a donor car.
also depends on the low end torque of the compatible V6s.
welcome to the club don, thats a donor for 3sgte if i ever did see one! . good luck with getting the ball rolling  . state salted?.. here they salt all over ! its more salty near coastlines which is why mine will be garaged in winter for sure...
