hi fellas was just wondering is anybody going to the pod for japshow on the 9th im going up in the 1.5 and if the cues are not to bad im going to run her see what she does with standard boost and stuff :D

podge as I have been in paris since last saturday and not due back till next saturday night I think the missus would leave me if I turned round and said I was going, had it not been for the fact I have been away so much would loved to have tried follwing you up in the SC and see how the 1.5 ran and doen some videoing for you as I rekon it should have some damned keen times ! Has anyone read the 27 page thread on the MK2 owner on IMOC that lied about his drag times in the high tens, its got to the point of legal shit going down !

really cant be arsed reading it so what was the threat that was made then against the kid who posts on there ? Read first 5 pages and last 3 but missed what threat he made as I guess I should have just read from the begining !

Basically, the lier who forged the timeslip reckoned he had done it all on an unopened engine, ie standard internals. He also promoted his own engine building service... (I wouldn't trust most of the people on forums who claim that, any more than i could throw 'em... most of them are wide boys who can fit a few bolt-ons.) ... basically he did work on a kids Turbo.. and it went bang soon after, suspisiciously with what appeared to be a loose nut from the plastic cam covered ripping the belt to shreds.
He then threatened the kid when he asked him to explain how it happened, honour his warranty/quality of work etc... paraphrasing, but basically "watch who you're talking to, or I'll come round to where you live".

He then claims everything to do with the timeslips and the 10s 1/4 mile was an elaborate rouse to suss out his new business partners... who, surprisingly, now want nothing to do with him. To55er.

well fellas im gutted wont be going to the pod now as my little baby just failed her mot on a pair of wheel bairings , i know i should have taken her sooner but you know what its like

ah rats!. still.. just a set of wheel bearings.. not much really for a mot. i had mine failed on a cracked wing mirror glass on the clio last time

hi tony there was only me going mate but my mot was up so couldnt go apparently a mk1 done a sub 15 was wondering if it was you but i will try and get a 1/4 in soon before i upgrade everything i want a good starting point let me know if there are any rwyb events coming up all the best podge
