    UK spec 3s-fe mr2 1991 for sale

i bought this mr2 to break for parts... then couldnt bring myself to do it. it was rotten and had been stood for about 10 years.
    so far i have
welded up the sills and wheelarches
    undersealed everything
    replaced all the handbrake cables
had the rear calipers refurbished by bigg red (best in buisness)
replaced rear brake hydraulic hard lines
    replaced all brake pads
then i pulled the engine out and...
    replaced injectors
    resolved leaky sump
    resolved egr system leak
    replaced the clutch
    replaced the timing belt
    new air filter
    new oil filter
    new oil
    new wiper blades
    new number plates
and a lot of elbow grease.
12 months mot as of today.
it is being valeted on monday, so if you want to view it beforehand please bear that in mind.
this is now a good solid car. its no show winner but its rare now to find one that has had all the rust work done. and believe me, that was a LOT of work. the price reflects the rarity of this fact.
    1800 or best offer.

Good luck with the sale, and well done for saving it. I'm fed up of seeing people on Facebook carve up perfectly salvageable cars just because they can get more coin for it.

My blue two is a rev1 3S-FE too, and I love the real car feel of it. First time I drove it down the road I scared the crap out of myself when I caught a pothole and the steering wheel reacted - it's a very different feel to a MK2 with power steering, much less insulated.

Hope someone gives it a good home!

    Chris.

+1 It's a sunroof model so not only lighter than a T-Bar but more rigid and as Chris said, it's got no ABS or PS. A proper drivers car.

Some great work on saving it mate, GLWTS.
