    Afternoon All

Hi guys I'm coops. Had my rev5 for about 3 years now and slowly been getting it back to a high level of finish. Now my body work is all sorted what are my options for power increases? The n/a is pretty much as good as it will get so I need to know what I cam do conversion wise. What are the pros and cons of each option and what sort of cost will I be looking at?

Hi, welcome to TB, are you planning to DIY or get a specialist to do it (for info we have a 16 month waiting list so probably not us!)

If you chose the DIY route i can provide almost everything (including wiring harness) to complete a DIY install.

Your options these days are the 1mz-fe vvti engine from the RX300 (typical donors can be bought for £1500 or less) , up to the 2gr-fe which will cost you around £6k in parts alone.

There are older cheaper V6 engines you can fit, but the two above are the most popular these days.

Hi Paul. If I can get an engine complete I'd like to have a go myself. Apart from the the engine itself and the ancillaries what other parts will I need if I go down the self install route?

You need a right side mount, fuel pressure regulator, flywheel, clutch, front poly mount. They get you hung and drivetrain connected. I can also offer a full wiring loom service if you aren't keen on spaghetti so it becomes fully plug and play.

Literally as much or as little as you want.
