    Santa Pod 'Jap Show Finale'

    Two Brutal Santa Pod Visit October 6-7th 2007
    ‘The Jap-show Finale’
    Round 4 of the HKS drag series
    + 2 day RWYB competition!

    Event details:
    On the weekend of Saturday October The 6th and Sunday October the 7th 2007 At Santa pod raceway in Northamptonshire the ‘Jap show finale’ will be held. Various high power Japanese cars have been battling it out through out the year in the HKS drag series. There are 8 classes of cars, we will fit in to the class B: toyota/lexus class of competition, there are drift displays, stunt displays, tuner stands, a dyno, dragster demo's, jet car etc. The weekend is open to club attendance and Japanese entries, there is a trophy in each car category up for grabs!, The best Quarter mile times for each class carry over to the Sunday. We will also be holding our own quickest time competition with trophies, read on for that.

    For more event details see here:

    http://www.japshow.co.uk/index.html

    We will be there for the duration. Saturday and Sunday are both run you bring days (RWYB) and open to all makes and models of cars on Saturday and Sunday only Japanese cars, we will be hopefully making our brutal presence felt

    Club location within Santa-pod / camping location:
    The club car stand will be with other club stands in the tarmac ‘pits area’ of Santa-pod Race-way, the camping area if you are aiming to camp will be in the public camping area and you will be allocated on arrival by the Santa-pod marshals for camping, we have no control over the location of the club stand in relation to the pit area, or the location of the camping. Just before the pit area are showers and toilets, and on site; merchandise shop, and various food outlets. Food vans & toilets are also located by the sign in area (right next to the control tower).

    Event entry costs:
    On the door entry for the Saturday the 7th is £10
    On the door entry for the Sunday the 8th is £15, advance booking is £12.
    Saturday entry cannot be booked in Advance. unless buying the weekend ticket.
    Entry for both days and camping included is £15 in advance or £20 on the door, we are taking ticket bookings for the weekend advance option.

    BOOKING IN ADVANCE / DEADLINE:
    If you wish to book in advance, and take advantage of the £15 all weekend including camping, It’s easy, pay online with pay-pal, all payment must be received by Friday September the 14th, that’s just 3 weeks before the event and only 2 weeks from now so get moving people! Book now!, please include your name and address when purchasing and the club shop will forward tickets to you when they arrive. This should be 1-2 weeks before the event if you have met the deadline. If you have any queries regarding payment contact lyn@twobrutal.com

    PAYMENT: please send:-
    single ticket: £16.35p / ea.
    two tickets:£32.17 / pair.
    three tickets:£47.98 / three.
    four tickets: £63.80 / four.

    If using paypal / choose the option to 'send money' then choose the 'goods' option, to:lyn@twobrutal.com
    Do not forget to check that your postal address is included and the number of tickets you require.

    The price includes 52p p&p & 25p per ticket to cover collaborative booking fee, then 3.4% paypal fees of which are applied on the receiving end.
    All tickets on receipt will be sent first class. The 25p is an average and assumption that we sell a minimum 20 tickets for a 20 car pitch, any excess monies will donated to the club kitty, unless you have any objections it is rather hard to quantify something not yet finalised

    Bookings after Friday the 14th September must be completed by the individual, and in which case if you are late booking, and we don’t have the space allocated on the stand at the event, it will be unfortunate. BOOK NOW! or as early as possible in the next 2 week period to guarantee a place on the club stand in the pits.

    Quarter mile run costs:
    On Saturday the 6th is £15 for unlimited quarter mile runs!
    On Sunday the 7th is £20 and limited to 3 runs only due to the Jap only final heat races.

    Quarter mile run booking:
    Both Saturday and Sunday Is only available to book in person at the ‘sign-in’ office which is located at the start line, the Sign in office opens at 8 am., arrive early.

    Car / member Qualification:
    The event is of course open to all two brutal members big and small and affiliates, how ever on the club stand only mk1.5’s and mk2.5’s will be allowed from small members. Big members and affiliates may bring standard mr2’s if required.

    No support vehicles / models other than mr2 will be allowed on the club stand, they will have to be parked elsewhere.

    Club stand costs:
    In order to book a club stand, for the number of cars attending we have to book half the tickets in advance, so far there are a possible 21 cars attending .
    With this provision we can book a 40 car pitch in the pits if we pay in advance for at least 20, keep the names coming in.

    ************************************************** ******

    ‘THE BRUTAL QUARTER MILE TROPHIES’

    For the quickest recorded quarter mile times at this and any other recorded club event in the year of 2007, two brutal will present a trophy at the Christmas do!

    The new categories are here!:

    1. Mk1 / 4age only;
    Just the bare naked 4age 1600cc engine , with fuelling additives fine.

    2. Mk1 modified;
    have a 3sgte? 3vzfe? 1uzfe? 4agze, twin charged? forced induction? the sky's the limit in this category.

    3. Mk2 modified;
    have a turbo / supercharger / 3vzfe / 1uzfe ?, the skys the limit in this category.

    There was also talk of a 'Sekrit spirit of two brutal trophy' no-one knows what its going to be awarded for lol so go for it in any way you can.

    at the moment, there arent many if none plain mk2's attending, which makes a trophy a bit biased to an entrant, if the numbers grow we will probably sort a category out. Toyota engines only please.

    In order to qualify you must be a big member and show your fastest time slip on the day, to the time keeper for the club for recording on the club time sheet. The run times of each category will be displayed in the quarter mile thread in the banter section after the event.

    Miss Owen will be collating the time-slips so please send any bribes you may feel are necessary to her PM box. Not that they'll be needed of course but we're also taking excuses for poor times now to avoid the rush on Saturday evening.

    Event location:

    For more directions visit here:

    http://www.santapod.co.uk/g_find.php

    Don’t forget your driving licence:
    You are required to produce your driving licence at the sign in office,and log your car details, if you do not you will not be allowed to partake in the quarter mile runs.

    Time slips:
    When signing in, you will be allocated a wrist band RWYB vouchers and vehicle movement pass, then go and queue up at the fire up lane behind the other cars, wait your turn and get ready.. PLANT IT ;) . further help on staging and making a timed pass successfully can be found here:

    http://www.japshow.co.uk/rwyb.htm

    Your timed quarter mile run is then recorded against your registered details. You can after each race go and collect your time slip, or you can wait until the end of the race day (around 5pm at this event) and collect all the times recorded through-out the day in one go, Time slips are collected from the sign in office just under the control tower.

    The Small Print;

    Car Safety:
    To be allowed to drive on the track the car must be in adequate road going condition, discretion will be by the track side officials.

    Personal Safety Equipment:
    All are required to wear a seatbelt. Although most will not know the highest speed of their car on track, if they know or have an idea that the terminal velocity of the vehicle will be in excess of 110mph / 177kmh you will be required to wear a safety helmet in the vehicle by Santa pod ruling. You must also wear a safety helmet if you have an open top or soft top vehicle there will hopefully be one available to borrow for a club member (TBC)

    Santa pod in house Safety:
    Santa pod employ a well equipped St. Johns ambulance service and a fire service, they are on hand all day at track side, in the event of a track related accident they will arrive very quickly.

    Car Insurance:
    We urge members to check with their vehicle insurance company if they are covered for drag racing for the day, it is not imperative to Santa pods rules on RWYB days.

    Any questions?:

    Santa pod will not allow any driver to race if she or he is thought to have consumed alcohol or be incapacitated in any way, this was confirmed today. for other site rules and regulations please read this:

    http://www.japshow.co.uk/info.htm

    Disclaimer:
    Two brutal does not accept responsibility and will not be liable for any damage / injury caused by you to you or your vehicle or a 3rd party or 3rd party vehicle or any damage to the Santa pod raceway itself, by booking a ticket with us you have agreed to these terms.
